i would like to know if in RTL a hero can learn any type of skill or those who he can learn are restricted to the type of

skills printed on his sheet.

He can learn any type of skill. But in RTL there aren't ALL the skills available in vanilla Descent (see the rulebook...)

And the FAQ. They changed a couple of skills and removed a couple there.
