Wired EPT seems to be meant for Tycho! Paired with something like predator this guy should Never miss. It could make ordnance a sure bet for him also. I could see running him with opportunist if you have a ps 9+ meta. Opportunist could also pair well on some lower PS a-wings since it gives stress. I really like this card and think it is just what the A-Wing needed.

How are you going to pair Wired, Predator and Push the Limit, though? Without PTL he's basically never going to be stressed. Wired does make a very solid option to go with PTL, since it only costs one point. I'd usually take it over Veteran Instincts on Tycho.

Tycho + PTL + Wired + AT comes in at 30 points. That seems like a pretty solid build to me. And Wired could end up saving his life if he gets blocked.

You are probably right. Ptl and wired are probably better then any other combo for Tycho. He will get defensive and offensive boost and he gets action economy.

Why reroll focus with Tycho when you can just spend the focus?

Because you can only spend the focus once. If you've got a few shots coming your way, it's probably better to reroll the focus results on your attack, and save the token for defense.

It can be difficult to make Lone Wolf reliable in anything but a 2-ship list, especially on a 2-attack ship that wants to close in to deal damage. Wired is always on for Tycho, regardless of the number of ships you bring to the table.
