BB8 isn't Rebel / Resistance Only.
Now we all know only the "good guys" have astromech slots, currently, but this tells me one of two possible things. The first is that it COULD mean that Scum and Imps will NEVER, EVER get an astromech slot. The other thing, is that perhaps BB8 goes undercover at some point and is meant to be a faction hopping unique?

Isn't the astromech R2-D2 also not rebel only? My guess is no astromech slots for Scum/Imperials.
Scum has salvaged astromech, so it's fine there. And following the precedent, I'm pretty sure that if Imperials were to get astromechs, their version would have a different adjective to reflect that.
Astros will likely only ever be on rebel ships.

speaking of cloaking being good 75% of the time FGD, do you know if the dice rolled is Green or Red? does it even matter? are there the same amount of Focus' (foci? focuses?) on each dice?
Ptl engine BB8 will let you pull off the Advanced Sensors Corran reposition game on a much less expensive ship.

both die roll two foci, so the probability is technically the same
but the dice rolled is red, which makes it a 25% chance (2/8) to discard your cloak as opposed to an 100% chance

I don't get BB-8 as an Astromech - he's too small, and where do his arms and stuff come out (and what holds him still while using them)? Het could do the stronavigation, but I don't see how he'll be much good at repairs.
