So after reading the pretty bone dry article I noticed it said the core set is available at "select force Friday locations". However as we discovered yesterday the sku is popping up at pretty much every target. So what's the deal? Can anyone on the east coast confirm wether their targets that did not host a force Friday event have any core sets?

It's only at Target in the USA as far as anyone has been able to determine to this point in time.

No I get that I mean the article makes it sound like it's only at stores that held a force Friday event.

No it just means other stores don't have them yet.

I have seen a couple of reports that suggest (or provide apparently well informed speculation) that Barnes & Noble will have them on the shelf today.
And Targets without midnight events are showing them in stock for this morning. YMMV.

How are you searching on target? I tried earlier by using "fantasy flight" but nothing. Or are you using that sku searcher?

I finally found it on targets official site, I had to search "Star Wars" and it showed up on like the 3rd page. Showed in stock at my store. No store pick up tho but definitely available.

It means it is not at your FLGS.
I have the day off, and have seen it stocked at 2 Targets, and my local Barnes & Noble.
I also just got an email from MM saying you can order it from them for over $10 less than the brick and mortars
Note: if you are a B&N member, they did an email blast with a 20% off coupon this week that should be valid on the core set. So that may be a better place to check than Target if you have the option.
