More importantly... Astrid is stall?
Paid to Protect? Yes. Stand Off? Yes. King? NO. Astrid? NO.
The only reason King works in a stall deck is because he plays stuff for free from the discard pile while he stocks up on the aforementioned cards.
Same for Astrid... her only stall comes from her Valkyrja Shield and the aforementioned cards.
You can't call King a stall deck when resolving POTM on turn 1 gives your opponent a 3 turn window to not lose the game.
Having a lot more Astrid experience my belt, however, has shown me that she is completely capable of playing a stall game. Attacking her early without a way to protect your staging area is VERY unsafe and can often end getting your turn ended and killed on her following turn. This causes players to gray war up until they can comfortably attack into a pommel smash or first rite reversal for 20+ damage. And with the defensive options available to fire (wow that is weird to say) Astrid can set behind a stand off/p2p and a healthy badonkadonk and just soak until she wants to kill you.
@Duckman- Didn't mean to upset you dude. I was just clarifying my build. Should have done so in the first place. We Americans get dumber the further South you travel.
