For those who already get one new set:
Are the models the same just with different colour scheme or do they have different shapes too? Like shorter nose of the X-70 etc?
Maybe someine can post them side by side?

They are both new sculpts.
The T-70 is substantially different. The TIEs are more subtle but definitely different sculpts.
The T70 has a completely different wing structure to the T65.
Well, the actual ships do. Not sure about the FFG models but I'd be surprised if they didn't match their on-screen counterparts.
The T-70 has split cylinder "engine intakes" I guess while the T-65 is a full cylinder engine.
As for the FO the guns stick out further and wing shape is slightly different. It is really hard to tell unless you take a classic TIE Fighter and compare it with the new FO side by side.
