I read somewhere yesterday that Forbidden planet and Toys R us will be stocking it

I passed a small Toys R Us that wasn't doing a midnight opening but had already finished their display for this morning and they had no Core Sets from what I could see.

Currently no one in the UK is reporting that they got their hands on one so it's looking pretty bleak.

EDIT: ok a few people on the UK facebook are confirming that it's not out in the UK. This is purely a US Target exclusive.

Reports are that distributors other than US Target stores will get stock on 16/9. Online sellers will have it up within a day of that. Bricks and mortar FLGS will be two weeks after or more.

Why would it it be two weeks from when distributors get it to FLGS getting it? As a matter of interest?

Delivery time from the US.

May be less for you in the UK, but it's usually around two weeks here in Australia to get anything from the US. Paying for express delivery notwithstanding.

Ah right. We usually get simultaneous release with the US here in the UK, and this thread was about the UK so wasn't expecting comments relating to Oz, understand now.

Glad I didn't use the random information on the Internet to que outside my local Toys rUs at Midnight.

I just don't understand it, random posters on the interweb are usually so reliable....

I don't know anyone who plays in my area that'd Que to buy at midnight, it's not like it wouldn't be there the next day.

Also the nearest toys r us is in stoke so you'd probably get mugged when you left the store, or shanked or both it is stoke after all.

I think you're overly harsh there... Having lived in Birmingham all my life Stoke is like a playground...

Having grown up in stoke I can assure you it's bad, once saw a guy get chased down thrown in the gutter and get given a curb party in broad daylight on the Hanley main street, and no one batted an eye because it's stoke and its a common place occurrence.

And as someone that used to party around at night time I assure you night is worse you don't go out unarmed.

Esdevium confirm shipping on the 17th. About the time-frame I'd have expected. Maybe it'll turn up on the high street before then, but I doubt it.

Rang both a UK Disney Store and a Toys R Us this morning, both of which were taking part in force friday, neither had the new core set on their inventories...

It was a long shot i know but i guess now we know we'll just have to wait a little longer for our new core sets...

Had confirmation from the owner of an Australian FLGS that they will have stock by the release date on the 16th.
