I went to midnight Toys R Us, they don't have the new X-wing core (or any X-wing at all). They gave away an awesome Kylo Ren poster at the door though. I'll have to try my Target after work tomorrow.

Yeah... the closest participating Target for me was an hour away. The Target down the street opens after I have to be at work this morning. 2 Walmarts and a Toys R Us nearby didn't have it.

Luckily, I've talked somebody with a slightly better schedule into making a Target run for me this morning. And at least Walmart had cupcakes.

actually MOST targets didnt participate in the midnight event... which is good for those of us that have lives!!! lol although i am tempted to blow off my morning workout so i can be at target when the doors open!!! also does anybody know if Barnes & Nobel are carrying it? as one of my local target stores is near a B&N increasing the odds of me finding it!!

I hit up TRU, Target, and Wal Mart. Target had by far the most products, and the only place with X-Wing. While things like the black series figures were gone in seconds, I'm fairly certain you won't have to worry about the X-Wing core set disappearing before you can make it to Target.

At least you're on the side of the pond that has some for sale for a couple of weeks

(although it does give me a chance to work out how to get it without upsetting the misses)

Around 7:40 other people started showing up and by 10 'til several of us had emerged from our vehicles to stake our claim in line. By the time the store opened, there were maybe a dozen of us standing around. We all chatted a bit about what we're waiting to get. Four of them didn't even know about the Star Wars thing and I was the only one there looking for the core set. So long story short, if anyone else's local Target is anything like mine in little ole Lafayette Indiana, then I would bet at least a few sets will be available if you can make a lunch break run to the store.

I'm glad I didn't go to the midnight event at Target. I was tired anyway. The next morning they had 3 Core sets sitting on the shelf and probably had more in back. No expansions

I bought 2 Cores with a $10 off coupon. I'll wait for expansions to get more ships.

I live in a fairly small town in Ohio and there was only like 3 people in line at 8am and 2 of them grabbed 2 cores a piece. Only 1 left after I grabbed mine. Didn't think it was gonna sell so fast but never underestimate a miniature collector. Some action figure was crazy hot too with most the gathered also sporting a handful of those. Glad I had no interest in non-gaming toys

I was at Target in Longmont CO this morning. I was the only one going for X-Wing. The other gaggle of guys were looking for toys. I bought one copy and there were still 5 or 6 on the shelf. I think depending on where you are, they will still be there.

I woke up to a core set today.

That was a particularly fantastic feeling.
