I would rather buy Ep7 XWM merch from a FLGS than a big-box store, but thus far my local stores have no word on if they'll be getting the product, much less when.

I figure that it's entirely possible a distributor embargo will lift once the stuff's actually for sale. By my watch, that's about six-and-a-half hours from now (midnight on the east coast). I'm hoping word starts to leak out some time soon.

If anyone gets any actual info (no speculation please; 3rd-hand rumor's fine) about the non-Target/TRU/WalMart distribution schedule or logistics, please post it here.

Thanks for supporting your FLGS (from a manager of a FLGS)! I am pleased to say that this will NOT be a big box store only product for much longer! Check your FLGS again next week!

I'm also interested in knowing if any episode VII expansions are accompanying the core set, hopefully FFG can start letting us know things soon...or keep us in the loop.

I second the question about other expansions.

One of my sources said that the distributors won't get them until 9/16. Yuck.

Ok, Yay, the gag is off. I was really worried for a while that I will have to go line up at Target at midnight. Even though I am supposed to promote FLGS, my respect goes out to all of the hardcore x wing fans who went to Target at midnight. Your love for the game is what keeps it going. Going to midnight releases for a game is something I have only previously observed with Magic the Gathering or established console games.

Hopefully I will find out more details about the other 2 expansions are today.

Tonight the store owner walked up to us playing our X-Wing games and said, "So I here the big stores might have some cool stuff tonight. Any of you guys gonna head out and get the new goods?" And we all told him we'd rather support his store and that seemed to cheer him up. And then he said, "Yeah it shouldn't be long before we get it, just a few weeks."

I have exact date of Two weeks for my FLGS's. I'm in AUstralia, which is either dead on or +1 week from American releases.
