Well, Force Friday has arrived and it seems there are new core sets to be found. I've checked some online retailers and will be visiting some stores later today. Very curious to see what price they come in at.
Does anyone know if their local FLGS (or anyone for that matter) is stocking them? Target certainly isn't.
I just checked the Good Games online shop. Nada.
Edit: Maybe when everyone wakes up and normal trading hours resume? We might see updated product listings...

Well, the places you'd need to be checking aren't LGS stores.
They're Big-Box Retailers...
Walmart, Target, Toys'R'Us...
Of course, even here in Canada, we've got no Target stores (all closed down), WalMart isn't participating, and we havn't heard a **** thing from Toys'R'Us...
... so it may end up being a US only thing...
But certainly, it was *NOT* for LGS and Game Stores. Force Friday seemed to be aimed, completely and utterly, at Big-Box Retailers, only.
Nothing online at either Toys 'R' Us or Target. Unless they're not allowed to put stuff up until midnight US time?
i am in germany and talked to my FLGS and he told me he had nothing offical. he cannot even order anything. so he said it might be US only or he will get a surprise package from ffg but he doubts that.
No new core sets available. I'm going back to bed.
For the moment no news here in Spain. Now is 1:10 A:M, so I am going to bed, tomorrow I will visit a pair of specialized shops, if the Spanish national distributor does not say anything, I am going to clean an adjust my crossbow

Nothing is Adelaide Target as well. Looks like it will be a later purchase.

I don't know if they are in the US or not (I'm in Canada), but Chapters book stores here sell the old X-Wing core sets. Might be worth a look for the new ones?
Apparently the Disney store has a force Friday special with unique hours. If anywhere here in Canada, I'm thinking that would be the best bet.
Just came back from a Disney Store midnight release in Denmark, no new core here.
Well, can't say as that I'm heart broke that my fellow X-Winger's may have to wait to buy somewhere other than Target. For now at least.

Target Australia is not affiliated with Target US despite the logo and name, and I doubt they will be participating. After talking to the guys at my FLGS, they are not able to order any as yet. So it's unlikely we will be seeing it in Australia anytime soon

Dropped into Zing at Tuggerah, NSW. The two dames were dressed as Han and an Ewok, pretty cool. Poor lasses had some obnoxious nerd regaling them with his theories on the TFA plot and which reliable sources provided him with the spoilers to form the basis of his predictions. They did a good job of feigning interest and enthusiasm but any chimp could see that it was nothing more than customer service.
Zing had Wave VII in stock.

They also can't order until there's an official announcement. Which is, as we all know, hopefully tomorrow.
Kmart and toys r us are also devoid of the fun stuff.

Distributors other than US Target will get stock on 16/9. So figure two weeks after for shops here or for delivery from an online retailer.
So, we're likely looking at the end of the month...
