I've been waiting to clear a bigger gaming area before getting the Starter Set and getting into this game. Going to be ordering a 6x4 board soon, then it'll be time to order Armada. The desire for three Imperial Star Destroyers is what has me impatiently watching my bank balance so I can afford it (in addition to other things).

I'm cutting back on X-Wing just for this game because it looks awesome.

I've almost entirely stopped playing X-Wing in favor of Armada.

This wasn't an intentional shift, mind you, I just derive a larger amount of satisfaction from a game of Armada, won OR lost.

The most fun I have in X-Wing these days is running the largest TIE formation I can manage without crashing into myself.

Think you got problems, I once flew a Tie off the board with a miscalculated koiogan turn. I almost had victory too.

But as soon as I saw a review of Armada I knew this was a game more to my liking. ISDs and swarms of Ties. I'm even planning a Rebel fleet, as I do like CR-90s and Nebulon-Bs. Mon Calamari too.
