In order to dissuade the mounting concerns over the upcoming release schedule/logistics do you think ffg will release information tonight?
Edited by AyleronCould there be a midnight ffg news article?
Probably. Midnight Eastern time?
Edited by TasteTheRainbowIF YOU ARE READING THIS FFG, PLEASE, MAKE IT SO!
I won't stay up late to stand in line. I might stay up late to read about all the stuff other people are standing in line for.
Edited by Rakky WistolI dont even see tha last article from yesterday...
I dont even see tha last article from yesterday...

Edited by TaiowaaIsn't it already Sept 4th in several timezones? I doubt we'll see a midnight article.

If they have to wait for the 4th, they probably have to wait for it to be the 4th or later in all time zones.
Anything is possible, but wouldn't put money on a midnight article.
Or in their timezone.
nah, they'll wait until 10 a.m. EDT tomorrow
they see no reason to rush
No, because they probably already used up all their O/T budget paying someone last month to sit online and delete all the threads about the new core set.
There may not be a FFG done article, but i expect the pictures and threads to flow like the worm poop from a different franchise.
Edited by That Blasted Samophlangeyeah...part of me feels that FFG screwed this up...part of me wonders if they have no choice but to stay silent.
the official "unboxing" livestream...did it show the core set?

Doubt it, since DISNEY did the exact opposite yesterday all over youtube.

Disney sets the rules so they can break them. Amazon won't sell me Force Friday stuff until 3am eastern tonight but my local Target 20 miles away will start at midnight. That world wide web thing probably affects all release info. Can't let California get a head start... those jerks are smug enough already. ![]()
yeah...part of me feels that FFG screwed this up...part of me wonders if they have no choice but to stay silent.
Based upon what we know about the entire process as dictated by Disney FFG is absolutely required to be silent. It is also now apparent that FFG was not involved in anything that was "screwed up". That would be a couple isolated Target issues.
Having seen a Youtube unboxing of the new core set, I have to question its compatibility with my current X-wing collection. There are new movements (t-roll), damage deck etc. I will be holding back from buying the new core set until FFG comes out and tell us about its backward compatibility.
For what it's worth. FFG HQ is in Minnesota, which is Central time zone.

I saw all those new things too...they're new but it's not a different rules set.
but your right on one thing...we need to hear from FFG

Its the same game just added two new subfactions and one new movement
Yeah the new core set is every bit as compatible with X-Wing as the S&V stuff is.
The one and only question left is if we'll have to have the new damage deck for tournaments at some point. But from what I've heard the answer is no, you can still use the old one if you don't own the new core.
The new factions aren't full blown factions, they're sub-factions of the Rebels and Imperials. So you can have T-65's and T-70's in the same list if you wanted to.

Good to know, i thought it was just me and an issue I had. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I guess it's a good thing I'm not a betting man.
