Rythbryt...that was one heck of a wall-o-text, very good points brought up.

Cant wait to actually get my hands on these upgrades to try them out. Because some things may seem awesome on paper, but can play out completely differently in actual play.

Perhaps the biggest effect Tractor Beams will have is just the threat of them will change list builds.

Would you consider maybe putting together a little Hunting Pack of 4 small ships and just use them to blast down your opponents smaller ships?

BTW: If you double beam a ship with a counter and dial they can get back to speed three if they chose. However, next time they don't have the counter and can at best get to speed 2. So you need token generation or retention to be able to rely on speed 3.

Tractor beams will force your opponent to waste their command dial, simply reducing it to producing tokens to mitigate it. Tarkin gives you back your command dial to do other things. Wulf will do it also, but for 1 ship only.
