Force Friday Youtube Stream

By Skargoth, in X-Wing

Has anyone seen anything of relevance to X-Wing? Such as toys of ships that haven't been seen before?

I bailed after the Aussie kids couldn't open their light saber packs.

The man on the main hosting spot (LA) Said he was a "Die hard x-wing player", during the Lego Poe's X-wing reveal (which is why he had respect for tie fighters). That's about it.

At least he respect's the swarm!

(Considering he's a HUGE R2-D2 fan, he probably flies nothing but X/Y wings so he can equip R2 on at least one of them, unless he has the CR-90, then he can use R2 as crew). Also that poses the question: Can you use R2 as crew on the B-wing? Which B-wing pilot to use?....

Given how few products have been previewed so far, I don't except anything for x-wing is going to shown on the stream. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Wow, this is unbelievably mind-numbing.

18 hrs of TV-shop stupidity.

It's opening toy's, stretched over 18 hours. Did you really think it was going to be exciting?

Has anyone been taking or compiling screen shots of the new toys? I'm stuck at work and can't get away to see all of them as they reveal.

The fan made R2D2 was pretty awesome though.

wow those lego commercial animation videos might have Episode 7 spoilers in them!

I doubt anyone at lego has seen the film.

I don't want nor care about "TOYS" I WANT new and MORE X-wing miniatures ships... or 1/72 scale plastic models of Starwars space craft!! I have the currently released ones hopefully Bandie or how ever you spell it will be releasing some new ones like the Interceptor!!

What you are describing are toys for sure,

I doubt anyone at lego has seen the film.

Well at the german conference there was an actual lego designer. He said they worked on developing the kylo ren ship alongside the production of the movie. The first infos they got were to see the concepts but they couldnt take pictures. So some of their ppl drew scetches for the lego design team to work with. Then like 3 month into it they got more detailed material. That was just for one item.

With all the different models lego has they have to get the images from somewhere, probably also from the movie where they actually are in use. So i wouldnt be surprised if they had access at least to parts of the movie.

But would they pass that on to the people making the adverts?

Sphero BB8!

NEED the BB-8 remote control droid!

Oh dear, they did the bb8 commercial rather well.

I dont know. I just noticed that most of theose scenes were from the old movies. Some of the ones with EP7 stuff in it were also set up in a way that they could be out of acutal scenes with some variation of course.

Midnight has already happened here in New Zealand. I was at a midnight madness but we didn't have anything much special in the way of cool toys. Honestly the quality of some is downright shonky. Even the Black series figures (6 inch?) were fairly poor. Phasma sold out quick though (I think she was only in 3.5 inch line, didn't see her in the Black series).

If you get a chance look at how bad the quality on the chess set is.

Unsurprisingly, we did not see any X-wing stuff.

The flying falcon drone looked pretty cool

Thats not especially good advertisement for tat NERF gun... not working well at all...

Just to be clear, FFG products never appeared, correct?

Correct

Does that flickering space background with debris remind anyone else of the first X-Wing pic game?
