Force Friday Youtube Stream

By Skargoth, in X-Wing

First 15 minutes: Blahblahblah

I'm doubting X-wing announcements, but most of us will have our new cores in less than 48 hours.

We shall see...

Link?

Awkward kids opening first toy.

Bladebuilder... blegh.

Australian announcer looks like a Clone Trooper...

Why could they not just make sure the kids have some scissors? Was that too hard?

I thought for sure the Australian host in the flight jacket was Temura Morrison

Australia gets to go first, and someone decided it would be cool to watch kids struggling with all the twist-ties and tape and cardboard hurdles between you and the toy you just bought.

Not very well thought out ... massive production effort, all for a total fizzle on the reveal.

I thought for sure the Australian host in the flight jacket was Temura Morrison

I'm like 90% sure Morrison is from New Zealand.

EDIT: Wikipedia agrees.

Skip lightsaber, pummel other kids with the giant plastic brass knuckles.

I agree (agreed....prior to the Wiki update) - the poor lighting made it hard to tell :)

I didn't mean Morrison - I meant the guy with the eye patch from EII - http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gregar_Typho/Canon

Can we pummel these two derps on right now and move on? :P

Edit: good call on showing the documentary bits between things

Get to the ships already!

Cad Bane No1 Bounty Hunter!

Xanadu Blood incoming in wave 9 anyone ;)

Wow, this is unbelievably mind-numbing.

18 hrs of TV-shop stupidity.

EVERYTHING IS REALLY AMAZING!!!!! WOW!!! AMAZING!!! Whoah guys, it's a bunch of toys. Not like it's X-wing miniatures game....

I watched for 90 minutes and now I'm done. the X-Wing is nice, but apparently the figure doesn't fit inside.

It does fit. They said you have to put the figure in the seated postion first then put him in the cockpit and fits right in.

We already have the coolest Star Wars toys - thanks FFG!!!

Also a kiwi, not an Aussie!

I call shenanigans. It it fit then one of them would have been able to work it in. Neither one of them got it in, and then AFTER it is taken off-screen they are both like "Yeah it TOTALLY goes in".

Andi is soooo beatiful!!!!

:D

Yup... I do not care about all this NOW, NOW, NOW Hype.

All I know is that FFG is going to make all new era models and Mini Mart & Cool Stuff will have them at some point soon. When they do; I will happily drop a few hundred bucks on it and I will love it for the rest of my life.

Good nuff.

:D

ya, the stream was pretty painful for the 30 mins I watched. Lots of awkward "Wow! Awesome!" over and over, struggle to put models together or open boxes, and a "Star Wars Top 10" to fill in space. I peeked back in for a second, and it was back on another Star Wars Top 10. So... Ya, it's probably best to just sit this one out.

Call me crazy, but I'm totally digging the celebration. I'm probably not going to buy a tenth of this stuff, but it's exciting to kind of ring in the era of the new movie on a global scale.
