So this deck is pretty strait forward, build turn one, then attack turn 2. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any questions about so of the card choices I've made or think something would work better in the deck let me know.

Let me just say Im very glad you posted this deck.... i was going to post mine and you saved me time lol!

My build and your have just a couple of differences, mainly in the attack lineup.

Id suggest using Lion Slayer, yes its a 2cc but it can get real big real quick (14 damage with heihachi).

My personal lineup is
4x Spinning
4x Lion
4x Wheel Kick

Next, I sometimes seem to have a problem with momentum generation on turn two so i dont get the most outta Spinning like I would like. Take a look into Treacherous Offspring, its easy momentum and a 1 which you kinda lack. A couple of Ascending Zephyr is also an option.

Lastly I use Path. Its nice damage pump but its saving grace is its card draw with Communing with the Ancients and to a lesser extent Zephyr.

I dont get why you included Ancient Fighting Style, since you can only use it on the opponents turn with only possibly Hunt is On (other than some weird opponents reversal). I also dont get the inclusion of Invoking. I guess the speed pump is nice, and is something that Heihachi really lacks in my eyes to be truely competitive, but imo it just isnt worth it to include

I like the deck, I definately think Heihachi is a force to be reckon with although I think he needs a lil more to be on par with King, Rasho, and Astrid (reverse pommels suck hard)

I also think this is a very viable and strong deck Mike. Thank you for posting it ^^

With any luck I will post up my twist on Heiachi by the end of the next week or so.

Hope everything is well with you and yours out east : ) = happy thanksgiving weekend and all

Actually Dut thats Keith lol this is Mike :P

As for the deck it hurts lol. He doesnt seem to have a problem with the momentum gen becuase he has Mechanical Laughter Ha-Ha-Ha. which is a bit better cuz it has a block and doesnt need to RFG itsself for a momentum. and it gives stun 1. Im pretty sure the ancient fighting styles are in there because of the Hunt is on and theyre spam.

As for the Invoking Im not really sure myself maybe speed.

Mike and Keith, this is something special...I still like my fire version more but with the chaos character recursion i can see how strong this deck can be. I just think you get so much more on Fire. Anyways you Canadians better be ready? I maybe in Canada for a week next month, and I maybe in the Oshawa area. Their may just have to be a US invasion of Canada again. LOL.

Hey this looks familiar. I have the same build with slight differences, like, I play 20 attacks. Foundations are basically the same cause chaos dosn't really have a whole lot of good foundations but it does have a lot of gimmicki ones. Good build though, you might want to try out wild storm in there.

OK for all of you that are wondering why I'm running the Invoking and the Ancient fighting style. The Invoking is in there for its five check and its high block, witch my deck is lacking. The ancient fighting styles are there for the spam and as a defence to Financial troubles and helps with the hunt is on.

Tanner : I used to run wild storm. It worked good I just didn't like how it gave my opponent the pluss one as well. Though since I all ways believe in trying new thing in a deck I'll give it a shot. I think it would work out with the build I have now cause it checks so well. I've had games where I've killed on turn two and not had to commit any foundations to pass my attacks

Have you looked into Evil Mist instead of Wheel Kick at all? Mist has better Speed, loses 1 Stun, and a (much) better block. It also can do one more damage.

Another attack that I am looking into is High Tide Anchoring. It is a High, 5 Diff, Weapon, meaning First Rite makes it better (a big plus for me). It also mills your deck, so more characters will be in discard for Spinning Demon. It is also high speed without the E, and even higher (effectively) with it.

My attack lineup:

First Rite

Evil Mist

Spinning Demon

High Tide Anchoring

Shadow Flare

I am still working on the survival aspect of the deck, seeing as how I feel back on my heels if I cannot get into my attacks early enough. I am also looking into other forms of momentum generation or check hacks. Something like Ascending Zephyr, or Unnatural Grace. Grace would be good, as it is both high difficulty(possible damage), but the use it limited, and I cannot discard it from the card pool or anything. Zephyr is nice as I can gen momentum for a Demon + Need to Destroy without needing a ton of setup, though the lack of a block is a bummer. It does offer a nice utility of changing block zones, though that is not always great. Zephyr is currently the forerunner, but I wanted to see what others thought.

Yeah the more I look at Zehper the more I like it, I'll give it a try and see how it works out. As to Evil mist, when I frist made the deck I was running it, but after testing I found that it really wasn't working as good as Wheel kick. The stun 3 is what stops my opponets from using foundation tricks or just makeing them fail blocks from the later attacks. Oh and I know you didn't say any thing about Shadow Flare, but how is it working out for you ?. I found that it never really work out for me. The -1 to checks seemed to hurt me more then my oppenets, that and it smeed to get blocked a lot. I feel that High Tide is ok, but not good. I'm sure that theres a better attack for the deck

Shadow Flare is really nice in my experiance. It works with First Rite, and it can really push the damage early on. Drop a First Rite, E with it, a Shadow Flare (on a 4 if the First hit), then a Demon on a 6 or 7 depending on what happened with the Flare. Then, for the rest of the game, they will probably hold a high block in hand, in case of a Flare. That is one block that can't be used against a Demon, or a Rite.

In the end, I use Flare first and formost for the combo with First Rite, and second for the damage and the pressure it brings. I imagine other attacks might offer some of the same benefits, but Shadow Flare is a favorite of mine.
