FFG finally posts an article about Wave 7 releasing

I do find it interesting that the K-wing example does not show dropping it right on some guy, but rather in front of it.

Why?

Everyone always talks about putting right one some schmuck.

It's not indicative of anything, just interesting to me.

So they've got a legal K-Wing example in this one I see.

It's not nice to call people schmucks. I was genuinely curious why you thought it was interesting. Is there a difference that I'm not seeing?

I mean the poor pilot who got bombed. He's the clear looser in that situation.

Not any actual forum goers here, they are not the "schmucks".

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. I was trying to think of some way the interceptor could avoid getting hit. I guess if someone else hit the bomb first, then he would be safe.

Poor Decis and YTs are getting pummeled even in the release article. Couldnt be more obvious :(

I wouldn't read anything into it.

The example they use of Cluster Mines getting all dropped on Han's head is the chosen graphic for Deathrain whose special ability of dropping bombs out of the front guides is being highlighted.

The Conner Net example is showcasing the SLAM maneuver. While you can slip the C-Net under your foe when dropping it, that doesn't look nearly as pretty from a graphic design standpoint. Normally if you are able to slip the C-Net or C-Mines under your enemy you have probably just flown your ship over top a portion of theirs and landed on the other side. That's not going to come across the greatest in a diagram like this.
