Can all these be played together? Take Iniative&Reinforcements and then Squad Storm w/Strength in Numbers in the same turn

By Sazzlefrats, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

So in one turn I played.... take initiative, reinforcements (brought back a regular heavy storm trooper) activated the heavy storm trooper unit (cost 6), then played squad storm, activated the elite heavy trooper unit (cost 8), then strength in numbers and activated a probe droid (3pts).

Is that all legal?

The questions are...

1. take initiative must be done at the start fo the turn, so much reinforcements can they be played together?

2. Then... the wording on both Squad Storm and Strength in numbers implies just the two units that each card affects and not all the cumulative units that are going to used? So it seems I can chain 3 together.

Anyhow the game felt heavy handed in my favor when I dropped that bomb on my buddy.

thoughts?

1. Yes, you can play any number of "at the beginning of the round" cards. No restriction here as far as I know. In fact, I think you could even play two copies of Reinforcements.

2. I think it's legal, but on this one I'd recommend that you listen to people other than just me.

I played my 2nd reinforcement card on the very next turn :-)

#2 is legal as I see it, and have contemplated it my self. They work of only the 2 units related to each card being played.

Both of those examples should be fine and legal. No you cant play 2 Reinforcements at the same time though.

Page 8 of the RRG under Command cards:

"A player cannot play multiple copies of the same Command
card at the same time. For example, if a card provides “+2
Accuracy,” the player cannot play two copies of the card to
gain +4 Accuracy for one attack."

2. is legal.

You can even play Change of Plans in between.

Thanks for mentioning that. I think I may have misplayed that a few times (but not in a tournament, no worries).
