Hi, I'm pretty new to x-wing but found out early on I liked TIE Fighter swarms

Nice little TIE swarm... One standard variation would be to replace Night Beast with a Black Squadron Pilot with Draw Their Fire to protect Howlrunner. Not sure if you have Draw Their Fire though?

I'll have a look at that thanx, I basicaly picked my named pilots going off my favourite pilot skills/points cost

Play around with the different TIE pilots. They all have their uses, except maybe Winged Gundark is kinda meh.

Since you're new you may also want to try

Howlrunner /w Swarm Tactics

Backstabber

Dark Curse

Academy Pilot x4

The reason being that they are then PS 8, 6, 6, 1, 1, 1, 1 - which imho, makes it easier for you to learn how to fly them well in a formation. You can also have Backstabber peel off early to get flanking shots.
