I'm holding out for Alan Turdek's CGI character being a bothan in Rogue 1.

Why yes it is, we have an over-representation of the oppressive Red-squadron while the Blue-squadron is always under represented. This was back in the 70s and 80s when Red privilege was largely ignored by the Red-Squadron politics that dominated X-wing society today. Now that in the ever more progressive 2015 we will now see a larger and more equal representation of Blue Squadron pilots who's true accomplishments in the destruction of the Death Star were largely censored and red-out by red-supremacist of that time.

Though I dare say there definitely is an under representation of Wookies in the game X-wing.

I did see black commandos in RoTJ but yes, that was talked about back in the 80's. But thankfully times have changed. Now we have Finn.

There are plenty, thousands of the stormtroopers you see in ANH, ESB and RoTJ. That pilot just off screen, etc etc.

I guess the best thing you can say about the Star Wars universe is that there literally is no linguistic concept for different (human) races. Which kind of makes sense for a Kardashev Type II civilization that's more concerned with keeping organic beings in charge.
