Had this come up in a game the other day. I used a maneuver dial to slow my Gladiator to speed one to ram a ship with 2 HP left.
Afterwards, I realized I could probably still utilize Engine Techs for another maneuver which would also ram.
I didn't do it, because the other player was somewhat fresh, and I was a little confused at the nature of ramming a ship twice in one turn but... is this kosher? I can't find anything forbidding it.
Ramming twice with engine techs?
Yes you can. It is because you are "executing a maneuver" which is the trigger of overlaps.
As for being kosher. Go right ahead and do it. It is a legit strategy
It is perfectly legal to do, from a rules standpoint.
But it is cheap, IMO, so I try not to do this personally.
Is it cheap, though? I'm taking a damage card, too.
I just have a hard time visualizing it cinematically...
Think of it as you are trying to turn and causing more damage.

I can work with that. Turning into the impact to maximize damage rather than glancing off, which you can do because you've got some ballin' Engine Techs on your ship.
Edited by TvayumatYes, or your engine crew were able to cause your ship to leap into action with more thrust than usual which caused the double damage
This also works to heal 2 damage cards from the station.
Nothing is better then having your demolisher almost dead revealing a engineering command and use a nav token to trigger engine techs landing on the station twice and walking away with full health:)
UGH. how are you all using your station? I never even get onto it. =(

.... Go Second, and put it where I want it, first.
