Team Covenant Command Tokens (for Imperial Assault)

By Vollie, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

$95 for a campaign set and they don't even include the base markers.....

and no Weaken status <_<

I agree. They don't look appealing to me. The initiative token looks really cool. But other than that... I'll stick with my cardboard ones that i've colored in around the edges with paint marker. Those look nice enough for me.

Part of the nice thing about the stock tiles is that they read well as star wars.... the crates are star wars crates. These are not. I understand why they may not have been able to use the same designs, but these are so nondescript, that I find them distracting. I like their concept for differentiating troops within a group, but again, I feel like the ID tags are less intuitive and more distracting as they are not easily distinguishable at first glance (I'm sure that would be less of an issue with regular use. For the high cost, I think it is just not good enough.

Love the idea, but not sure how it's worth $200 to get the campaign set plus all the base markers you need to play.

Heck no.

Yep, it's just not worth the money they're asking. Besides, the tokens that come with the game are just fine for me.

The character markers are a good idea, but at $8 per group, it adds up to quickly, so it's out of my price range. And I'm not really a fan of how they differentiated #1 and #2 and #3...it's not intuitive enough. I'd rather it was a simple 1, 2, or 3 dots (all the same) rather than the odd system that they use.

the tokens that come with the game are just fine for me.

!!!

Nice idea, really bad price.

$95 for a set and they don't even include the base markers.....

Erm ... that's more than the price of the core game.

I am still considering though.

I'd scoop em, on a offweek when I don't have anything to buy and i'm feeling like dropping a stack.

I'll def be snagging the xwing set before.

I like the look/functionality of the tokens, but my IA doesn't get enough play at all to justify going in like that. (plus i paint all my models to reflect some of these things already).

I WOULD think that these would make excellent tourny prizes tho.. some incentive. Kinda hard on the organizer, tho.

No way. They don't look like .. uhm ... $95

The core set tokens are good enough.

Not a huge fan either. Love how they try to sell the idea that they "revolutionized" the game with their tokens. Their "revolution" is how we have done it from the beginning and the Core Game contains all that is needed to do this "revolution".

Some of the tokens looks really nice, but they are simply too expensive for what you get.
