Just wondering, because while I was mulling over a list for Jan Ors I was trying to decide wither to include 2 X-wings (26 points total) for the escort and multi-role value, or 2 a-wings for the counter 2 and 4 health that they have. Keep them alive for a little while longer while whittling down the aggressors. But then I remembered that the basic YT-1300 has BOTH escort and counter 1, and tried to squint out the points value.

After all, Jan Ors ability effects all squadrons in a 1-2 distance bubble, so you don't need escort when you placer on the other side of, say, a Assault Frigate.

But then again, the YT-1300's are only speed 2, while Jan herself is speed 3.

So even though they have 7 hull and 3 attack, with escort and counter 1, they are only speed 2, so that would make the 11 more believable. I am surprised that they don't have heavy to be honest!

I wouldn't put too much stock in those early announcement photos. We know FFG keeps play testing after some of those are released so stats , particularly costs, can easily change by the final release.

11 points is plausible, but I'd bet on 12 to 13 too. Compared to X-Wings, they have the potential to deal damage when attacked

I thought it could have been 17 though not sure.
