Proximity Mines - Friendly Fire?

By Chioxin, in X-Wing Rules Questions

As the topic says. I couldn't find anything that confirms that my own ships could trigger my own proximity mines. I assume that they can, just as bombs also can also hit my own ships? Just trying to find this out before I send a "bomb heavy" group at my friend ;)

Friendly fire is a possibility. The card says "When a ship's base.....", but more specifically, it does not say "When an enemy ship...."

That's what I thought, thanks for confirmation =)

You drop a mine. An enemy drops a mine. The next turn is there anything that actually says who dropped each mine?

Good question. I do know that when I point at one and say "Mine!", no one has ever disagreed with me.

You had a great setup for that one.

Now you just need to state how 'mine' is being used; as a noun or as a possessive pronoun. Don't you just hate English some days. :P

Remember kiddies, once the pin is pulled, Mr Hand grenade (or mine!) is no longer your friend.
