questions of movement, trophies, and encounters

By talinoob, in Talisman Rules Questions

Hye there, Im new here and I have a couple of question you guy can help me.

1. regarding the movement. The rule stated that we can move our piece clockwise or anticlockwise. If in event such as blizzard where it will be gone after 2 round, what about the movement? should we determine we go only 1 way till the blizzard ends or roll a dice to determien the movement.

2. Can we get trophies from monsters such as spirit at crags, or dargon in caves

3. If an encounter requires you to do a str/craft check (e.g the marshes) will our followers(E.g Maiden) add up with our str/craft during this check?

#1: You don't roll when the Blizzard is in effect, you just twice move 1 space. You can choose your direction every turn, doesn't matter which way you wen the previous turn. This is why Poltergeist + Chapel/Healer is a (almost) never-ending combo during endgame. Another time I can see this being key is Blizzard and Elf, assuming the Elf starts in a Woods space (no teleport during Blizz). When Blizzard hits, he is forced to move 1 space, but next turn, he still moves 1 space, so he can move back to the Woods, ready to continue his wood-hopping after that.

#2: No, just Enemies. Enemy = Adventure card with that keyword, p. 10 is clear on this.

#3: Yes.
