Considering taking this to an upcoming Local tournament... I trialled similar yesterday, but had a Vic2 on screed, with Overload, and it was just... disappoitnig... Adding blue dice and all was nice, but blue dice themselves just weren't damaging enough...

So! Downgraded to a Vic1...

I'd expect to have an Advanced, Vader and Fel run interference against any major clusters of enemy Fighters. Rhymer, Bomber and TIE Fighter stay back and exploit openings in enemy shields at range... If the enemy fighter pack isn't too deadly, then the TIE Fighter and Vader swap positions, sort of thing...

Otherwise, its try to get Contested Outpost as a mission, and drive straight towards the enemy, to punch them in the face with ludicrous amounts of black dice, backed up with hopefully 1 or 2 accuracies one way or another, to kill that Brace token...

I usually find one TIE Advanced to be enough and I don't feel that Darth Vader is worth the points. I would probably try another bomber (though I realize that you probably only have 1 Imperial Squadron kit). This would allow you to add another TIE Interceptor as well.

That's exactly the issue...

Getting a second Squadron pack is entirely evident on being able to sell stuff at a Bits sale on the 7th... OR, get people to pay me commissions to paint squadrons.
