I've noticed there is a lot of inside jargon and abbreviations used to describe the game. Understandable given the length and frequency of some aspects of the game. I have deciphered most of it by inference and context but a few still elude me and I would like to know exactly what they refer to.

TO - referee, tournament organizer?

PWT - refers to fat turret squad lists of some kind?

How about a reference list on this thread for commonly used jargon so we newbies can get a handle on the discussions more readily?

I may have some of these wrong so please correct.

Copy and add:

Squads
Swarm - some dispute but traditionally a list of identical low squad point ships ie. the Tie swarm
Brobots - a 2 IG-2000 Aggressors squad list
Fat Han - a YT-1300 loaded with upgrades, various arrangements, with various other ships
Doom Shuttle - an Imperial shuttle with Vader on board


Upgrades
VI - veteran Instincts
HLC - Heavy Laser Cannon
PTL - Push the Limit
AT - Autothrusters
EU - Engine Upgrade
SU - Shield Upgrade
HU - Hull Upgrade
ACD - Advanced Cloaking Device
EPT - Elite Pilot Talent
