I thought it's an interesting glimpse into what some of the new vehicles are going to be. Some photos surfaced/leaked before this commercial, but it was in the gray area of whether or not it was legit. This seems to confirm it.

I don't have the room to keep adding more sets... heheh. Guess I'll have to add some more shelving around here.

I think the language in the commercial is giving away something with its "Now you can..."

It's definitely possible BB-8 can be a goal for both sides, akin to R2-D2, but I wouldn't put all my money into LEGO products/commercials when trying to glean plot points.

I'd say consider it a likely chance, but not a definite, yet.
