Where do you play XWing?

By Plainsman, in X-Wing

More explicitly, which city, state, country, etc. are you in and do you play at home or a central location where others can meet you? What is that central location?

I reside in Grand Forks, ND, USA! I mostly play at my home and friends homes! I haven't gotten into gaming at the local store.

Thanks!

Toronto ON. I mostly play at home but have dabbled a couple rounds at two shops downtown. I have regular gaming nights every Sunday with a few friends. We play Dominion, Cards Against Humanity, Settlers, X-wing and Armada.

I play down at Games by the Beach in Frankston, Victoria, Australia :)

Local store in Lafayette, Louisiana. Just getting a core group going, but everyone is showing great interest!

Dublin, Ireland, atm only collecting dust :( , but planning on changing that.

Wherever I can in Warrensburg, MO

Jester's Court, Grand Junction CO. Over half the store is devoted to gaming tables. Magic is probably half or more of their business, but they devote a lot of space to board games. Great store, great people.

Lake Wales, FL.

Moved here 3 weeks ago and looking for a buddy or two to play with.

New Milford CT USA, I'm very lucky to have an stablished group, we play a few different tabletop war games in a HobbyTown, the store owner is a great guy, he allow us to use a room for our little club and we get together every weekend

I play at Parker Banner Kent and Wayne (aka the Law Firm) in Cornelius, NC which is just north of Charlotte.

My son and I occasionally break out X-Wing at the house as well.

Edit: I should clarify that PBKW is a comic and game shop. No actual law is practiced but for some occasional rules lawyering. :-)

Right now I'm playing at home in Grass Range, Montana. Have to drive about an hour and a half to two hours away to find a FLGS.

Morrison, CO (Denver Metro area)

Do a little here and there at home, but otherwise one of a few shops around here: Adventurer's Quarter, Wizard's Chest, and now Atomic Games West. Everything around me is a 15-30 minute drive but I don't mind!

Metro Detroit - west side mostly. There are game nights almost every night of the week at one store or another within an hour drive, most under 30min.

I had a good game in Fairview Heights, IL when stuck there for work. I failed to find games in Omaha, NE and Boston, MA when visiting them. Best yet though, I plan to play when I'm in the Minneapolis MN area in a week... presuming I can pick a single list to pack and people attend the FFG store game night.

Waukesha, WI

An area you've never heard of stoke on Trent, also known as the potteries we used to make the best crockery in the world, now we get drunk and fight mostly.

Lehigh Acres, FL.

I play with friends at our homes.

Have played at some game stores in the past.

Minneapolis, MN. Mostly at Fantasy Flight's Game Center but I've played at friends too. Some folks from our group play almost every night around the cities at local game stores.

Copenhagen, Denmark, Europe.

Founded what I thought would just be a small group of maybe 15-20 players (Copenhagen X-Wings). Today's member count: 288 people with varying gaming activity.

We have a lot of support from the LGS allowing us to have two weekly game nights on Mondays and Wednesdays.

And recently one of our members (and a couple of helpers) made the 2015 Nordic Championships a reality (for X-Wing, Star Wars LCG, Imperial Assault, Armada, Netrunner and A Game of Thrones LCG). X-Wing had 92 players from 7-8 countries.

So we have come a long way from what was sparked in January 2013 (the Kessel Run pre-release)

LGS. Let them clean up the mess and deodorize.

I'm sure Steve would get a kick out of this! :)

I've heard of Stoke on Trent, that's were Discharge & Broken Bones are from. Discharge is awesome even after 30 odd years.

Anyway, I play mostly at home in Rockland county New York, but I just found out about an X-wing group at Hobbytowwn USA in Nanuet NY, so I kind of excited about that.

I was playing at another FLGS last year, but X-wing was just a side game for those guys, and they weren't very good, and eventually just went back to 40k, FOW, and Warmahordes.

I live in Norwich, Norfolk, England, and I go to a regular X-Wing meet up group at my friendly local game store Athena games. I can't game at home due to space limitations sadly but I don't mind transporting my stuff down to the store which is fairly central to the city.

I also do the commentary for their live streams of tournaments.

I live in a town northwest of Detroit, called Clawson in Michigan. We have a store called Guild of Blades with an active RPG, magic, and x-wing/armada scenes.

I live in Leesburg, VA and my friends and I mainly play at each other's homes. However, I also play pick-up games and tournaments at Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn, VA and sometimes drive out to Island Games in Centreville, VA for tournaments.

Mostly at home or the FLGS in Truro, Nova Scotia, Stomping Grounds.

Also so play in Halifax or Moncton at Comic Hunter.
