So my go to squad is a really solid Xizor list (gotten me top 8 in 2 regionals in Australia), but since competitive season is coming to a close and wave 7 is out I thought I'd give something else a crack. Here's a squad that I've had a few games with and am really enjoying - thought you all might be interested in it!

Jake Farrell - 33pts

Horton Salm - 31pts

- Twin Laser Turret

Warden Squadron Pilot - 36pts

- Twin Laser Turret

The only real issue I have with this list is that it's 100pts, so against other arc Dodgers Jake can have a bit of a hard time - the Twin Laser Turrets have mitigated this however, as either arc Dodgers need to stay in the donut hole of the Y-Wing or spend a lot of time avoiding Jake, so their movements are somewhat easier to predict.

I'm absolutely loving Horton Salm with the Twin Laser Turret - for anyone who doesn't remember the old dog, he rerolls ANY blank results at Range 2-3, so a focus action is perfect with him and he does some seriously reliable damage.

The K-Wing is a hell of a blast to fly - highly unpredictable and a lot of options on the field. Bit of a headache for your opponent, however 36pts is likely too steep!

Give it a fly and let me know what you think! I actually think the squad has a fair amount of merit. Playing around with different munitions, or perhaps dropping all munitions off the k-wing and running it with just TLT to whack an Engine on Horton might also be worth thinking about.
