Sorry for the double post
Maya knelt down and brushed away some grass, revealing a large knife with a nasty blade. Reflexively she quickly backed away - distancing herself from the blade. With shaky hands she began to hug her knees.
Seeing this, Kovin immediately drops to one knee beside her. "Maya, what's wrong? Talk to me. Can I have some help?" he asks the others.
"She doesn't usually do that, does she?"
"A little consideration would be nice! Look, she's never done this before, and while I doubt you've caused it perhaps it would be better if I took care of her. Why don't you keep an eye of the flesh-eating monstrosities while I calm her down?"
Maya looked from Kovin to the others. "I shouldn't have come." She mumbled. "Before we left. I had a vision. I was covered in blood. Your blood." she first nodded to Kovin and then to the others. "and their blood. I was stained with it. Holding that dagger, Kovin. Some times my visions aren't clear, but I think whatever it means. It's not good"
"Maya. I know you wouldn't do that. I don't - sense - it in you. You couldn't hurt them, and you certainly couldn't hurt me. And besides, what're you going to do with a dagger you don't have?" Kovin picks it up, considers it for a moment, then lightly tosses it into the jungle. "Yeah, good luck killing us with that thing."
The corner of Maya's mouth turned up slightly - the closest to a smile she's had since the day began. "That's not how visions work."
However, she senses Kovin's own resolve. She clung to it. Maya had little confidence in herself, but Kovin had it in spades. Voicelessly she mouthed "Thank you" before standing before the group at large.
"I'm sorry. I should have let you know what was going on. All of your lives could have been at danger."
Maya breathed deeply to control her feelings. When she had a sense of control over her self she declared to the others "I'm sorry. Let's get around these beings. I like the distraction idea. I'm in favor of that"
Edited by kaosoeI have four green dice for stealth. Not sure what everyone else is sitting on.
Someone with ranks in the Stealth skill can help Firan, but that precludes that PC from helping with a check of their own. Your choice!
In any case, the Stealth check will be the last thing rolled.
Edited by awayputurwpn"Well, we had best prepare ourselves." Seifer says as he removes his light saber from his belt. "I'll take the rear guard."
I'm gonna turn on my sense defenses just in case.
Edited by Silver CraneCan I use Seek to find an easier path around, or Sense to find out where the Flesh Raiders are (possibly giving a boost to the stealth check)
"And I suppose that leaves me the front," Jonas adds, lightsaber in hand, though not yet ignited. Like Seifer, he also reaches into the Force, heightening his senses and reflexes for the fight that may or may not come.
Activating Sense (Control - Upgrade Difficulty).
"Stealth is not my forte, and since I can't likely employ diplomacy, I guess I'll be fighting."
"Are we going to try scaring them first? Say, by having me levitate some of their possessions and having Firan jet pack over them and start blasting them? We'll lose the advantage of surprise, but we might scare some off."
"Ooh, fighting them is starting to sound fun."
"That plan sounds too risky. More than that, these creatures don't need to die. Not now. I can find a way."
Seek roll: 2eF 2 Light Side, 1 Dark Side

Kovin reaches out through the Force, exploring it for the first time in its new context. He searches, pulling on the strands that hold the universe together, tracing the threads of Destiny. There. A path, around the edge of the ravine. Not perfectly covered, but enough to make it easier to get around.
I'm spending both LS points on finding an easier way around. No use for the Dark Side.
Sense roll: 2eF 2 Dark Side

Pleased with his first effort, Kovin goes further, attempting to seek out the Flesh Raiders to track them. But what he sees - beacons of rage, fuelled by madness and bloodlust - terrifies him. There is too much hatred there. Quickly, he closes his mind to them, breath ragged and shuddering.
"There's definitely a way to get around without being seen - the Force showed it to me. If Firan leads, I'm sure we can sneak around and resolve this peacefully."
Since none of us have ranks in Stealth Firan's Ag 4 will give us the best chance. We should flip a Destiny point. What benefit do we gain from the Seek roll?
Edited by ColonelCommissarWhile Kovin was discussing his plan, Maya was also reaching out through the force. But rather than looking outward, she was looking inward, willing the Force to grant her a vision that may reveal a safer plan.
Foresee: 3eF 2 Light Side, 1 Dark Side

Thoughts of her previous vision came unbidden, but she focused on Kovin's encouragement. As quickly as the fear came, it vanished. Instead she experienced a sense of peace. A sensation she was not familiar with. With her peace of mind, she was better able draw upon the Force.
I am flipping a Destiny point and suffering a strain to draw upon the light side of the Force.
Thanks Maya! Two strain for the two pips? Or just the one?
Kovin, you may only use the one Force power (not both). So no worries on those dark side points
All Force points generated on these rolls will be used as either Success or Advantage on the final Stealth check.
2 strain. Are you going to choose what those pips get converted in to? Or do we? If we choose I say successes.
You may choose!
Xan, just waiting on that Move power check.
Xan reaches out with the Force, hoping to create a distraction:
Force check: 1eF 1 Dark Side
...but his residual anger over the dishonorable and cowardly tactics employed by the Flesh Raiders in their last meeting clouds his mind, and, unwilling to harness his anger, fails in the attempt.
Edited by Korro ZalFiran draws out his rifle and aims up at the rocks above the encampment. It's a tough shot, one in a million, but one he's certain he can make.
"Ok everyone," he says before taking in a deep breath, "They're gonna be all riled up in just a second. We're gonna want to get moving as fast as possible before they can pinpoint us."
Sweat starts to form on his brown under his helmet as he pushes the outside world away and focuses solely on his target.
Spending strain to remove one of those setbacks.
