Anyone done the math on Crits vs. Hits that actually hit the hull?

I was thinking about the Determination card and it made me wonder. What percentage of hits landed are crits?

We use evade results to cancel hits before crits, so a disproportionate number of crits will hit compared to hits. Picture an unmodified attack where the attacker rolls 8 reds vs a defender who rolls 8 unmodified greens. On average, there will be 3 hits and 1 crit vs 3 evades. So even though only 12.5% of the red dice rolled resulted in crits, 100% of the damage taken by the defender was crits.

Anyone done any math on this where one could say something like, "When 4 reds are rolled vs 3 greens, the average result will be .35 crits and .7 hits," or something to that effect.

I would really love to see some numbers. I do have a math background and I could do it myself, but don't really have the time or patience at the moment.

Nice. Thanks! Must have taken a bit of time to put that together and looks real nice.

But that still just breaks it down as hits in general and does not differentiate between hits and crits.

Edit: Never Mind, had to scroll down a ways...
