"Suggested" Walmart ad showed up in my FB feed for new stuff! That really doesn't come out till the 4th but anyway..while checking current stuff out I ran across IA for ~$75, X-wing minis game for some amount I forgot and Armada for I think $67. Prices + in-store pick-up I thought might be post worthy.
9/4 at Walmart
I didn't think Walmart carried FFG products, so I checked their site to confirm that you weren't hallucinating. ![]()
...lo and behold, the X-wing starter is $52. Go home Walmart, you're drunk. ![]()
I'll be starting at Toys R Us on Force Friday and if they don't have X-Wing, which is a good possibility since they've never carried it, I'll pop over to target and see if they have it.
Was in Wally's yesterday and in one of the kiosk spots along the front wall was a couple tables set up and a lot of boxes. On the table was a new version of a SW Monpoly it looked like. The kiosk has glass store front and doors that were closed so that's all I could see but a lot of boxes.
Nice. The only gaming item in the Hasbro catalog leak last week was a new version of Risk (the board is shaped like a TIE), so it's good to hear they've got other things coming. Hope for an "Epic Duels 2.0" still lives. ![]()
I saw that new MTG miniatures game at Wal-Mart, I don't see why they wouldn't also carry IA. Wasn't IA one of the best selling new games of 2014, even though it only arrived in the fourth quarter?
The closest Target to me doing a midnight event is an hour away, so I'll be hitting up Walmart and just hoping. I'm wanting the X-Wing stuff, but would also love to be surprised by any SWLCG or IA goodies...
I have never seen X-wing, Armada nor IA in Wally's but they carry it online. Really are scared of Amazon or something I guess.
Lots of toy releases this week, giving us a look at things to come.
Coloring book shows some minor characters and armed troop transport we see in the first trailer.
This list shows debuting this week which range from new alien X Wing pilot to battle damaged TIEs.

Oooo that would be cool. ![]()
