In a game last night, the fore section of the Raider took a critical that reduced its ability to gain energy by one. A couple of turns later, the fore section was crippled. So here's the question: do criticals still affect a ship after the section the card was assigned to becomes crippled? In other words, should the Raider have been able to gain energy as normal after the fore section was crippled, or does the energy reduction affect the entire ship the rest of the game?

I believe the crits stay. The huge ship rules only say to discard all of the damage cards once the entire ship is destroyed.
