So i just bought a second rebel aces and put this together. Any thoughts on how to fly it. At first glance is to fly in fomation and keep the ywing in back. Any other thoughts?

That's the classic Panic build.

I've only flown against panic attack once. That iteration replaced one tactician with ion cannon (which I thought was a good idea, since 2 sources of ion is more of a threat against large ships). You definitely want to fly in formation and try to 'trap' an enemy ship in your forward arcs, then using stress+ion to keep it stuck there until its dead (even if one of your ships bumps it, you still got plenty of firepower). It suffers against swarms (not so bad atm, since they are rare), and can be defeated by arc-dodgers if you are not good at predicting opponent moves. Otherwise it can be pretty nasty to face...

Yep. Spam lists suffer the most. Predator is a good pick because of panic attack.

FCS is also a good counter to panic.

Twin laser spam has a hard time until they kill your ion, then not so much.
