If you do get a wonky model contact ffg, with mass production there will always be the odd defect that slips through.

Never had to contact them myself but I've heard glowing reports from others.

Actually its more of a weapons pylon.. lol unless the K wing does have water landing capabilities??

Mine's about halfway between those two pictures.

By the way this kind of defect FFG will happily just mail you another ship. You could fix it easily if you were that way inclined, but it's one of the mid range cost ships, i wouldn't expect to buy a new product and have to fix it so just send customer service a quick message through the parts request page and they will likely sort you out,
