I know it's been brought up, but does anyone have an explanation as to why there was no article saying wave 7 is in stores? They always have one when a new ship is available. I just bought some from my FLGS, and I only knew to ask if they were in based on forum rumors. Is FFG have some organizational issues or something? Are they swamped with the Episode VII stuff? It's not a big deal, but it is unusual.

I'm hoping they're working on the FAQ and are planning to release that with the announcement... but I'll keep refreshing the front page until then.

The news should be they should out. Seriously my LGS got a decent shipment in and it was almost gone in 6 hours. The rest will be gone today.

Wave 6 hasn't run out yet. No reason Wave 7 would.

A given local game store selling out is relatively meaningless as the logistics of running a local game store generally mean that they don't have room to store a large stock of X-Wing miniatures. That's a lot different from FFG/distributors being out. The ships aren't near being sold out overall.

The upcoming page says "In Stores Now", last updated 8/26/15.

I picked my wave 7 up from Cool Stuff Games In Hollywood, FL (one of coolstuffinc.coms four retail stores, all in FL). They had everything on display and some extras behind the counter, but the guy said people had been coming through stocking up in bulk.

One question I do have is are these ships tournament legal without the announcement? I really wanna drop some bombs on unsuspecting opponents during my Sunday tourney.

Thats another problem is people buy lots of stuff at once one time a guy bought 8 a wing cleaned self off so no on in his gaming group could get one for months

I would say they are legal, as they are distributed, FFG says "in stores now", etc.
