Trying out the K-wing and TLT

By Squark, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So, having picked up a K-wing wednesday, I've been looking forward to trying it and the expansion's signature attraction out Tonight. After consulting the forums for a general opinion on K-wing loadouts, I think I have a tentative list

Warden Squadron Pilot (23)
Extra Munitions (2)
Intelligence Agent (1)
Conner Net (4)
Advanced SLAM (2)

Horton Salm (25)
Twin Laser Turret (6)

Gold Squadron Pilot (18)
Twin Laser Turret (6)

Total: 87

Now, obviously, this list isn't finished. I've still got room for a fair number of upgrades at this point. But I'm kind of unsure what the list actually needs at this point. What do you guys think?

(For the record, I only have one K-wing expansion and one Rebel Y-wing Expansion*, so adding a second connor net or switching to two gold squadron pilots won't work)

*The second Y-wing is from Most wanted, so I have two Y-wings, but the second Y-wing has to be a Grey Squadron Pilot or Horton.

EDIT: One potential list

Warden Squadron Pilot (23)
Autoblaster Turret (2)
Extra Munitions (2)
Intelligence Agent (1)
Conner Net (4)
Proximity Mines (3)
Advanced SLAM (2)

Horton Salm (25)
Twin Laser Turret (6)
R2-D6 (1)
Marksmanship (3)

Gold Squadron Pilot (18)
Twin Laser Turret (6)
R7-T1 (3)

Total: 99

The second list by far. Not much point in running TLT on the Y's without some form of Atsromech help.

Also good luck tonight!

I ran Miranda ( I can't remember what her exact load out was) w/ Horton and Dutch w/ TLTs and R2 mechs. It did pretty well. I wanted Miranda closer to protect the donut hole, but some blocking prevented that. So I had to keep the Y's further apart to protect one another.

Miranda w/TLT + c3po is pretty incredible for 38 points

I back her up with Warden (tlt, conner's, munis, a-slam) and a goldie (tlt, r4-d6)

the list was an excuse to use the two Ks I need to buy to supply the conner templates <_< but it turned out to be surprisingly competitive ^_^

r4-d6 is probably the best addition I made to the initial incarnations of the list. In no uncertain terms, HLC >>>>>>> TLT in a straight shoot-out. **** like Dash and Aggressors (shudder) will eat your more expensive pilots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. R4-D6 can, for one point, potentially double the number of shots required to down your Y which gets you more time to plink off shields.

Ks can't take astros, sadly, but Miri can tank like a boss and the Warden gets a good workout SLAMing out of harms way before plopping out mines. Poor Ys have neither advantage, but they do have r4-d6.
