Hey All,

My first "fun" IA tournament is this evening, and I am wondering if "proxy" Deployment cards can be used ie. Elite Rebel Saboteurs (only 1 in Core Box Set, so I made a second card (photo-copy on cardstock), to be able to keep track of damage, etc. Is this LEGAL or should I just proxy in a non-elite rebel Saboteur instead?

It's not "legal" by the official rules. In the official rules you have to have the official deployment card, as well as plastic figure (i.e., no tokens).

But that's for officlal tournaments. If you're doing just a "fun" tournament with friends, you can do whatever you want.

When I play with my friends we routinely proxy in extra figures or cards to play with more than what comes in the core set.

Yeah, as long as it's not official then you can do whatever you want. I even saw people using Lego figures for Royal Guards once! It actually looked pretty cool.
