If you don't need another vsd and are patient, there's a chance of a reprint in a wave 2 ship

Yeah Flight Controllers is the only card who's absence has been felt. Not worth a 4th VSD though, so I am hoping it'll be in a wave II expansion.

Based on the photos from the Wave 2 announcement, I don't see a Flight Controllers picture there. Sorry!

You only 'need' to have another for sanctioned tournaments. In that situation, I'd probably just ask someone at the shop if I could borrow one.

Indeed. Furthermore, with the squadrons-light meta that's currently reigning, the OP's local scene must be quite different than that of the rest of ours. I've rarely found even my single copy of Flight Controllers useful.

Few Squadrons < No Squadrons < Many Squadrons < Few Squadrons

...holds, and your meta seems to be dominated by few squadrons, then maybe you should try a no squadrons list.

I think of this as Edsel-Blerg theory because it was Edsel62 and Blail Blerg who put it on my mental map in this thread.

In our locale no squadrons seems to be the standard, and I just won a little tournament flying many squadrons. So, I've failed to disprove the above-mentioned theory.
