Tournament this weekend, and I'll have my Wave 7 stuff, so I was hoping to use my new K-Wing!

What do you guys think of this list?

Questions:

1) EU or advanced slam? Slam gives more distance and potential for more maneuverability at the cost of no attack. Since TLT is range 2-3 though, it might not be a bad idea to just slam out to range 3 every few rounds and arc dodging might be easier.

2) R2D2 or some other crew?

I own one of every expansion except epic ships. I do have R2D2, though.

Oh dear, totally forgot about TLT and Recon! Every time I considered it, I thought about 1 agility dice lol

If I drop to a 3 point crew, should I make adjustments elsewhere?

Jan Ors is always handy. Evade, yo!

I'd even consider a shield upgrade on Miranda. Rec Spec is nice but you will probably be spending more time trying to rebuild shields so will nerf one attack anyway so one focus will probably do ya ok.

You don't think Slam will be needed since my fastest maneuver is 3 and my only turn is 2? Or do you think that the extra shield is just much more important?

You get SLAM anyway, Advanced SLAM just gives you an action afterwards.

1)Rec spec give a boost to the TLT attacks

2) Without Mines, you don't need ADV Slam, this action can be usefull to escape from bad situation, but the SLAM showed on action bar is sufficient

3) Seismic Charges are easily to handle, and you can place it in the middle of the SLAM action

This list suffer a lot from Twin IG and Soontir / Darth Vader lists for the Dash's Donnut hole, you can easily replace the HLC for the Mango continuing to be an arc dodger with Dash, and removing one seismic charge, from miranda, you can run:

Extra Munitions

Seismic Carge

Flechette Torpedoes ------> to deal with Soontir, Twin IG or Vader giving tons of stress untill you hit the target

Munition Failsafe

So I did ok with this list. Not the best but I had fun. I would definitely go wtih Recon Specialist next time I fly her! I actually wound up focusing several turns even though I brought Jan Ors!
