Horton is the bread and butter damage unit.

Warden will keep them on their toes with his low pilot skill and scary activation-dial bombs.

Jake runs as a hard flanker. If they choose to ignore him, hes a procket ready to pop.

If the focus him, he can get out of dodge and the enemy will have exposed themselves to Horton's nearly guaranteed 2 hits per turn. (reroll blanks and if you take Marksmanship action, all focus to hits.)

My feeling is Horton will get prioritized as the highest value target.

I would suggest running the Warden just ahead of Horton and floating around his area with SLAM and 2-Hard Turns.

What do you guys think? Sure my scenarios are best case as Horton could struggle if separated from the Warden. I believe this loadout plus Jake make for great late game ships. Expect the Warden to die.

I think the K wing is the weakest link of the list. Obviously you want Jake for the endgame, and obviously Horton is a big target, so I would add something in there that has more threat than a seismic charge or ion bomb, because those are the two most underwhelming bombs in the game. I would also suggest a threat that is more ongoing than an ordnance alpha strike, as it is harder to pull off and you need a reliable partner for Horton. You may consider Wes Jansen, as he gets a lot of hate for stripping tokens, or maybe Jan Ors with an autoblaster turret to cover Horton's donut hole (heeheehee) and make Jake's attacks a bit more potent. Or even an HLC Blue to take some heat off of Horton.
