Why just influence ships, we need more game field modifier ![]()
I am thinking of the idea of special squad points for "field modificators". For example, beneath your normal 100 squad points, you have 10 extra points for adjusting the play field prior starting the game.
Examples:
- Extra asteroid (5 points)
- Removal of ateroid (5 points)
- Exchange one asteroid with debris field
OR Space slug (limited) ![]()

I think this would make the game even more unpredictable and harder to fly (I think most of us rarely hit an asteroid). And you can adjust the area a little bit on your squad or make it harder for other squads (usually counter lists). Examples are just examples, I just thought of the general idea to further influence the play area before the beginning of the game with a point system.
