My box o goodies arrives tomorrow! I'm very excited to get these baby's on the table. Bombs away!!
K-Wing & TIE Punisher: Flying Off The Shelves!
My tie punisher is already here, and the Kwing I ordered for my brother, and my hounds tooth and 3 Ks are on the way too.
Looking forward to trying out my scum Xwings with CMs and Gliterstim.
it's because the K and Punisher are some of the strangest, most "**** your mathwing," interesting goddamn ships to come out in ever. nothing ignores dice and awards positioning like bombers
anyone who enjoys the flying part of the game (as opposed to the dice-rolling part) is doing themselves great disservice by not taking these babies out for a spin
Bloody well said mate.
Good show
T-minus 20 hours until my collection gains 2 kwings, 2 punishers, 2 khiraxz, and a single tooth of a hound. Haven't been this excited since..
..S&V!!!!
K-wings yes, for TLT and Conner nets.
As for EM or cluster mines not really that much.
I only bought them (K Wing and Punisher) for the upgrade cards.
The K-wing's hugeness is part of the charm
pro-tip: unless you mount the K one peg higher than everything else, expect wing-clippage
Mine's actually going to be lower then average, since I replace the pegs on mine with magnets. ![]()
Both ships are massive. I did not expect that when i ordered them following my standard "one of each product" rule.
I am not really sure why they are on small bases and the agressor is on a large one.
They look very cool.

Keep in mind that the Large ships function differently in battle simply because of their Large bases. The Agressor is supposed to be a Terninator in space kinda, and it can wreck and block more with that big base. I alsawy give my Large ships that gloriouse new upgrade Tactical Jammer that allows these ships to block fire for their smaller escorts.

Of course in my games I allow Large ships to have more that one MOD because it's my Game Parlor... and I can do what I want to do.

Small bases are for gameplay purposes
Slam would be practically unusable without a small base letting you wave around obstacles For some beautiful net drops in the gaps between asteroids or right on top of high priority targets
Because SL and Aslam are can be lost by obstacles/bumping, a small base is necessary to make Ks practical
So by next Friday there won't be any left for me to get dang it

I wanna play in Joe's Game Parlour
I have a tournament I'm looking to go to this Saturday. I'm planing on flying my 2 K-Wings and something else. Because for one, I always have to play with my new ships at least once... Also because they're so new that I might catch some people unaware of what they can do.

Put in an order for two punishers at discount from one lgs. Gonna get my k fix at an9ther that lets you buy a ship as an alternate cost for tournaments (meaning I effectively pay online prices for physical retail). I really wish more places offered the later as an option.

Nah you'll be alright. They just added about 500 new packs tonight at Miniatures Market. Now the small ships are at around 1.000, and the YV is at about 450.
But yeah... don't drag around getting them next week.

K-Wings and Punishers were the most popular at the local FLGS. Hound's Tooth seems like it's going to eat up store space for a while.
I did at least get to confirm that I can fit one Hound's Tooth in my Plano case, so I can get one without needing a Battlefoam pack to carry it in.

of course we want to fly this...
“Deathrain” [Enhanced Scopes, Extra Munitions, Extra Munitions, Proximity Mines, Proximity Mines, Experimental Interface] (40)

Extra Munitions is 'Limited,' but you can load up on Flechette or Plasma Torpedoes in that slot.
Instead of Enhanced Scopes, why not just go with Cutlass Squadron Pilot if you want to activate first?
Because I think Deathrain works better with Advanced Sensors letting you boost/focus/target lock, and then Experimental Interface to drop a bomb and barrel roll before revealing a green maneuver to destress.
Edited by VulfI think another part of it is that it's been a while since wave 5, and there's probably a bunch of players who skipped wave 6. (e.g. players who play only one faction)
The K-Wing is flying off the shelves for 1 (okay 2) reasons:
2x Twin Laser Turrets

aye
ignoring the K for the upgrade cards is ignoring a wholly unique rebel asset that almost single-handedly dethrones the 2-ship meta (TLTs are great, but they're no A-slam conner's)
