I get paid in a few days and I am going to get my first sets of Wave 7 GLORY. So for fun I add ships to my wish list at Miniatures Market to keep an eye on their stock. I like to window shop and plan out my toy budget, like many of us.

So in the last 24 hours both of these ships have gone down from 1000'ish to 600'ish. The K-Wings seems to be selling a little more, but both ships are being bought like hotcakes!

Somebody (who understands this great game) is buying the new hotness, boy & how!

The K-Wing is flying off the shelves for 1 (okay 2) reasons:

2x Twin Laser Turrets

Yay, can't wait to get my hands on the munitions and TIE defender fixes. Oh wait, there's ships that come with those? I bought those were some kitbashed fan made models.

Am I the only one intrigued by the thought of putting autothrusters on the Punisher? It's a mini-C3PO!

it's because the K and Punisher are some of the strangest, most "**** your mathwing," interesting goddamn ships to come out in ever. nothing ignores dice and awards positioning like bombers

anyone who enjoys the flying part of the game (as opposed to the dice-rolling part) is doing themselves great disservice by not taking these babies out for a spin

I have 8 god damned Ion bombs now. 5x Scimitar Bombers, 5x Ion Bomb, 5x Extra Munitions. Once a ship gets ionized once, it can just 1 straight right into another Ion bomb. In theory you could just walk your opponent's ship tight off the map with a long series of them over the course of many turns.

I need to acquire 4 more cluster mines to run 8 of them on 4 bombers.

If I flew rebels more I would fly the K-Wing...but I've been flying the Punisher like crazy since Gencon. It's sooooo much fun!

I'm super excited to get some Defenders on the table, so I ordered a single TIE Punner from Amazon today. I mean: the ship itself seems hot, and I look forward to it getting play time.

But I could only afford 1 ship right now, and the Punner had the most options...

I traded in an old Star Wars Risk game that I never played for the Punisher and K-Wing. Both look pretty awesome up close. K-Wing's wingspan is ridiculous.

Picked up everything except the Hound's Tooth today. The K-wing is significantly bigger than it looked in the pictures. So is the token for Connor Net.

The K-wing's hugeness is part of the charm

pro-tip: unless you mount the K one peg higher than everything else, expect wing-clippage

I'm honestly amazed at both how well the Punisher is selling and how suddenly excited I am for it -- I didn't care for it at all until I saw someone flying the Punisher they got from GenCon.

(Course I'd be more excited if I could figure out how people kept posting these guys (aside from copying them straight from other peoples' posts, that is). WHARE DO THAY COME FRAAAAAM????)

I picked my Kwing and Punisher today, and I love them! The Punisher sitting next to my two tie bombers looks almost comical with its huge wings and quadruple ordinance pods

Ran Redline today with EM, FCS, plasma torps, and cluster missiles. Did very well against a group of X-wings. Another game he did well against some Rebel aces. Also saw some brilliant proton bomb placement with Deathrain. I am quite happy with my purchase, and the Punisher is going to get me playing Imperials more I think.

I got one K and one Punisher today from my FLGS... I already had a YV and Kihraxz from a generous GenCon friend. Played a couple games tonight but hadn't anticipated being able to play with new toys so they wait for me patiently at home to rend asunder their durable plastic shells and reveal the precious treasures within. Sorry. Beer.
