WTB WOMPA STOMPA MIX!!!!

That may be one of the greatest music videos I have ever seen. :D :D

I was marginally disappointed that it wasn't Daft Punk doing a cover of the Star Wars theme or Imperial March, but cheered up when it turned out to be WOMPA STOMPA AMAZING!!!!

I also love that they got Natalie Portman for the video.

Just my opinion, here...

• The 18 second intro was amazing!
• I LOL'ed at 2:01. The TIE fighter sound sold it!
• What the heck is she doing at 2:08, camouflage netting? Obviously, it didn't help, they found her anyway.
• The idea of using a power droid for a boombox is genius, and I love it bouncing to its own beat at 3:13!
• Great effect at 4:04.

Overall, if I were grading this video project, I'd give it a B+, mostly for theme and effort.

Typically, I like Daft Punk, but I don't think I'm fond of this song - it's a bit too "Nintendo" for my taste, especially for the video. I think I would've liked something with a bit more meat (bass) to it considering someone's being turned to the dark side!

Like I said, though, I love the theme and the effort they put into it. I'm happy that Star Wars is continuing to find its way into mainstream culture.
