I've got to hand it to marinealver.

In a single day he has managed to become more annoying than ficklegreendice and para goomba slayer together have been over PWTs.

And don't forget we have Rogue One coming out in a few years.... if there aren't new X-Wings and stuff for that movie then I'll be QUITE surprised.

In the cast photo floating about, I'm pretty sure I see a Y-Wing engine sitting in a hanger.

I'll be honest: seeing a Y-Wing in the new OT movie would make me 10% happier than seeing an X-Wing.

I honestly think a certain astromech that is forthcoming is a fix for the older X-Wing. Comboing with PTL and Engine Upgrade, while expensive, gives any EPT-toting X-Wing pilot three actions a turn, two of which are before moving, like Advanced Sensors, and the ability to adjust position a ton. Wedge and Porkins could be monsters.

Any one pilot, likely the elite ones, so no it's not an all around fix for X-Wings.
