Finally we have a store this side of the world that hosts regular tournaments!

Currently its the only store in Japan I know that regularly hosts X-Wing tournaments.
They are located at Kashiwa in Chiba prefecture, but are withing a easy comute from most of central Tokyo.
They are not officially supported by FFG yet, but the official tournament rules and tournament kits are used at the events.
Hopefully FFG great customer service will shine again and will add this store to the officially supported stores for tournaments.
The first tournament was hosted last summer August 23 2014 (as I know what you did last summer:D ) and was a great success.
Unfortunately I didn't know they where hosting a tournament so I missed that one.
The second one was in May 4th 2015, had 16 attendees with 4 swish style rounds and won by yours truly.
Another was held in July 19 2015 with 12 attendees in which I came last!
(i.e: from hero 'of the scum' to zero)
And finally two weeks ago (August 16, 2015) we had a mini 200 point tournament testing the huge ship rules in preparation for a major epic rules event in the following months.
The final match was a CR-90 vs CR-90 duel with Wedge and Kyle Kartan flying cover for the winning side and 2y-wings and 2 Z-95s for the opposition.
A close call for Kyle this turn since the CR-90 in turn drift almost hit a home run.
But came around to ionize spam the CR-90 to her doom.
I will do my best to report any tournaments hosted from now on.
Hopefully our next one will be supported by FFG.
