Focus-fire on the Cutlass seems like it'll end in a lot of wasted points on ordnance.

I would take out the missile and torpedoes which would give you 5 point to upgrade to Deathrain. That is to much ordinance for one ship. Either a bomb and missile, 2 of either bombs or missiles.
