So next week at the store I've started playing at (started playing X Wing about a month ago) we start our Escalation league that goes into a Tournament at the end. The escalation goes (2 weeks each) 40/60/80 then a 2 week 100 point tournament to finish it off. I've been working on my 40 list for next week and have a few lists and I'm just looking for some suggestions, large ships will definitely be a thing at my store even at 40 points, the Decimator looking like the fan favorite.

40 Points

Fringer + Outrider + Mangler

Whisper + VI + FCS + ACD

Rexlar + Lone Wolf

Echo - Recon Specialist, Fire Control System, Advanced Cloaking Device, Veteran Instincts

Also any suggestions or tips for the other point values would be welcome I have a few for the 100 pt tourney that I can post later. (Cheweebo, Rogue Squadron, Examples) Been focusing a lot on the 40 for now to concern myself in the 60 and 80 later, thanks everyone!

Bump cause it took half a day to post this

I'm a fan myself of Echo over Whisper simply because I love the expanded movement options the barrel roll gives. At the 40 point mark, since there's less ships across the board, Echo will be trickier to predict and pin down, and I like the recon spec or an Intel agent

Also advice on one of my 100 pt tourney lists. It's Chewbo and here is what I succesfully ran last week;

Chewbacca

-Falcon Title

-Lando

- Exp. Interface

- Nien Nunb

-Predator

Leebo

- Outrider

- Mangler

- Determination

- Hull Upgrade

I like the list and it worked well, the Falcon title went unused and the hull upgrade actually kept Leebo alive for the game as he was down to one hull with it. I did just pick up Rebel Aces and now have access to Jan Ors and Kyle Katarn crew members and I was thinking of trying to add them in but also figuring out what to add/remove/move around. Thanks again!

Oh yeah, one more thing I forgot to add! During the point increases we do not need to use any previous ships or upgrades from the last list we made ( if I go Phantom 40 pts I don't need to use one for 60, 80, 100 etc.) just some added info.
